Simone Pedroni is an internationally renowned Italian pianist, celebrated for his extraordinary virtuosity and artistic expressiveness. Trained at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatoire in Milan and having studied under masters such as Lazar Berman and Franco Scala, he achieved worldwide recognition after winning the Gold Medal at the prestigious Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 1993.

Since then, he has performed as a soloist with leading orchestras and at iconic venues such as La Scala in Milan, Carnegie Hall in New York and the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, working with conductors including Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Chailly, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Leonard Slatkin and Sir Yehudi Menuhin. 

In addition to his busy concert schedule, he has built an outstanding recording career with labels such as Sony Classical, Philips Classics and Decca. On John Williams Reimagined, he also composed the original arrangements that give shape to this unique chamber music tribute to the legendary composer’s music.
