Andon
Sara Andon is an internationally renowned solo flautist and recording artist, celebrated for the beauty of her tone and the depth of her interpretations. Her career spans solo repertoire, chamber music, symphonic music, opera, ballet and film music, and she has performed at some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls.
As a member of the Hollywood Studio Orchestra, he has taken part in the recording of numerous soundtracks for major productions such as Avatar: The Way of Water, Super Mario Bros. The Movie, The Mandalorian, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka, Bridgerton, Only Murders in the Building and Star Trek: Picard, amongst many others.
She has performed with orchestras such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the San Diego Symphony, and with conductors of the calibre of Esa-Pekka Salonen, David Zinman and Jeffrey Kahane. Her recording career includes notable albums for Sony Classical Cinema Morricone: An Intimate Celebration and Return to Life, dedicated to the music of Ennio Morricone. She currently combines her concert career with teaching as a flute professor at the University of Redlands Conservatory of Music and the Idyllwild Arts Academy.
