FIMUCITÉ kicks off its 20th edition on 6 June with the show And The Winner is…performed by the Pop Culture Band, an ensemble that has been the festival’s resident pop-rock group since 2014. Comprising top-class musicians with extensive stage experience, the band will be bringing a dynamic selection of some of cinema’s most iconic soundtracks to Santa Cruz’s Plaza de Candelaria in a two-hour concert. Thanks to the charisma and musical quality of this ensemble led by Gonzalo de Araoz, the audience will not be able to resist dancing non-stop.

The programme features some of the most memorable themes in film history, with unforgettable hits from Ghostbusters, Shrek 2, Footloose, Flashdance, Top Gun, Grease, Back to the Future, Rocky III, Armageddon, and Dirty Dancing. A dynamic, feel-good set that promises to get the audience dancing and bring back a flood of nostalgic memories.

To bring the evening to a close, the stage at Plaza de Candelaria will host a DJ set by NAGOBA. He is a percussionist, composer and music producer who has been connected to music from an early age. His passion for sound creation through electronic media is what led him into his career as a DJ over a decade ago. Thanks to this background and his extensive musical knowledge, his sets have become an energetic and dynamic journey that connects with listeners and leaves a lasting impression on audiences.
