Tenerife International Film Music Festival (FIMUCITÉ) 14th edition adds 'Money Heist’ creator / showrunner Álex Pina to the guests lineup. The founder of Vancouver Media will be honoree attendant at 'We are the Resistance: Money Heist Live in Concert' World Premiere, scheduled for September 25th and 26th. Manel Santisteban and Ivan M. Lacamara exciting original score of the successful tv series will be perfomed at Adan Martín Tenerife's Auditorium by Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife, under the baton of renowned composer and conductor Diego Navarro, director of FIMUCITÉ. Pina will be presented an Honorary Award in recognition of his career as the creator of extraordinary Spanish tv productions that have achieved worldwide recognition.
Alex Pina received in 2018 the first International Emmy Award for Best Drama in Spanish tv history. Pina is the mastermind behind iconic tv series such as ‘Vis a Vis’, ‘The ship, ‘White Lines’, ‘The Pier’ and ‘Paco's Men’. Pina also received the Ondas Award in 2004 for ‘Los Serrano’ and has gathered a slew of international awards such as the Ibero-American Phoenix or the Montecarlo Nymph for the Best Drama for ‘Money Heist’. Among his theatrical hits, Pina directed and scripted 'Kamikaze' (2004). Also wrote and produced the succesful comedy 'Brain Drain' and its sequel, featuring David Hasselhoff. His biggest blockbusters have been 'Three meters above the sky' and 'I want you,' starred by acclaimed actor Mario Casas.
Tickets for 'We are the Resistance: Money Heist in Concert' are now on sale. Composers Manel Santisteban and Iván M. Lacámara, along with 'My life is going on' original performer Cecilia Krull will be guests stars at this World Premiere concerts in Tenerife.
The 14th Tenerife International Film Music Festival will be held between 18 and 27 September 2020 with the support of the Cabildo de Tenerife, the Santa Cruz City Council, the La Laguna City Council, the Tenerife Auditorium and the Orchestra Tenerife Symphony.
