On July 3rd at the Teatro Leal in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, FIMUCITÉ presents the concert “Cinema e Paradiso”, in collaboration with the Roma Film Music Festival, with the support of the City Council of La Laguna, the Organismo Autónomo de Actividades Musicales de La Laguna and Mutua Tinerfeña. The recital, tickets for which will be on sale soon, will be performed by soloists from the Orquesta Italiana del Cinema, a group conducted by Ennio Morricone, together with the Orquesta Filarmónica de Tenerife. The concert will feature the star soloist Héctor Ulises Passarella, one of the best bandoneon players in the world, original soloist of the soundtrack of “The Postman (and Pablo Neruda)”. As a special guest, we will have the presence of the outstanding composer Pino Donaggio, Brian de Palma's main composer, and the last minutes of the concert will be dedicated to his music.

The audience will be able to enjoy a beautiful journey through the great scores of the best Italian cinema, from the Oscar-winning “The Postman (and Pablo Neruda)”, by Luis Enriquez Bacalov, and “Life is Beautiful”, by Nicola Piovani; to the monumental “The Godfather”, “La Dolce Vita” and “Amarcord”, by Nino Rota, or “Once Upon a Time in America”, “The Mission” and “Cinema Paradiso” by Morricone. Legendary titles that have forged a genuine musical identity that will thrill the audience.
