The Percussion Group of the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Tenerife was born out of the Chamber Music subject, with the primary objective of sharing the work carried out at the centre. This initiative underlines the relevance of the subject as a formative space of excellence, where students can experiment and apply the skills developed on their instruments, as well as the knowledge acquired in their studies as a whole.

It has established itself as a point of reference for all students of percussion. Their outstanding career includes concerts in venues such as the Auditorio de CajaCanarias, the Auditorio de Tenerife, the Centro Cultural de Agulo, the Teatro del CPM de Móstoles in Madrid, and the Auditorio Antonio Lecuona del CPM Tenerife. They have also participated in renowned festivals such as the Festival Internacional de Percusión Ritmos Handmade in Puerto de la Cruz, the Festival de Música Contemporánea de Tenerife (FMUC), the Festival de Música de Cámara Villa de La Orotava, and the Festival de Música de Cámara Agustín Ramos de Candelaria. This year, the group is embarking on an exciting film music project, with which they will participate in FIMUCITÉ 19, 2025.
