FIMUCITÉ - CINE DE VERANO

On Friday, 20 June, at 8:00 p.m., Il Postino (The Postman and Pablo Neruda) will be screened, a film considered one of the best films of all time. Directed by Michael Radford, the film tells the story of Mario, a humble man who gets a job as a postman with a single mission: to deliver mail to the exiled Chilean poet Pablo Neruda. As Mario delves into Neruda's world, a deep friendship develops between the two.

FIMUCITÉ - CINE DE VERANO

On Saturday, 21 June, at 8:00 p.m., it is time for Cinema Paradiso, a film directed by Giuseppe Tornatore that tells a story of love for cinema. The film tells the story of Salvatore, a boy from a small Italian village whose only entertainment is the cinema. Fascinated by moving images, Salvatore believes that cinema is pure magic. One day, Alfredo, the projectionist, decides to reveal the secrets behind each film. As Salvatore grows up, the time comes for him to leave home to make his own way in life. Thirty years later, a message calls him back home.

FIMUCITÉ - CINE DE VERANO

On Sunday, 22 June, at 8:00 p.m., we will be able to watch Quo Vado! (An Italian in Norway), directed by Gennaro Nunziante and the highest-grossing film in Italian history. A civil servant has spent fifteen years happily issuing hunting and fishing licences, living comfortably with his parents and without ties. His world falls apart when the state eliminates the provinces. To avoid unemployment, he accepts successive transfers to regions of Italy, eventually ending up as the guardian of an Italian scientific station at the North Pole.
