Néstor F. Marqués is an archaeologist and disseminator specialising in ancient Rome. His project, "Antigua Roma al Día", has made him one of the leading Spanish-speaking experts on Roman history. He shares his travels around the Roman world on YouTube to showcase its remains and what they tell us about the past.

He is a contributor in history programme "El Condensador de Fluzo" on Spanish-language channel La 2 de TVE, organises educational archaeological trips, and has published several popular essays, most recently "La Roma de Constantino" and "Gladiadores: Espectáculos y Ocio en la Antigua Roma".
